Psychiatric Bed
Containment rooms are environments designed for the safe management of patients exhibiting self-harming or aggressive behaviour. In such an environment, the Securbed psychiatric bed, which is completely anti-trauma, is an essential piece of equipment. The Securbed is a single bloc bed that can be fixed to the floor. Its robust frame and durable surfaces ensure a high level of resistance, even during aggressive outbursts or crises. Special padding and an ergonomic design protect patients who are violent or self-harming.
Standard equipment
- Reinforced frame made of S235JR steel made stainless by pre-treatment and thermosetting epoxy paint;
- One-piece frame with shock-absorbing padding;
- High-density, shock-absorbent, non-deformable polyurethane padding;
- Upholstery:
– made of class 1IM (reaction to fire) silicone material;
– sanitised with commonly used detergents and medical-surgical aids;
– has antibacterial, antifungal, stain-resistant and waterproof properties, guaranteeing maximum hygiene and durability;
– resistant to inks, chemicals, adhesives, sodium hypochlorite, saline solutions and commonly used disinfectants, ensuring easy sanitisation even in high-intensity use environments.
